We all live in the modern world and gadgets are part of it. A lot of things can be controlled by us from a long disctance. However, what happens when things go wrong for Matthew, Sooty, Sweep and Soo?

Sweep takes Derek the ducklilng to Sooty, Soo and Matt and they discover that he is a walking, talking plastic duck. They take Derek to the local pond in search of his mummy. Derek thinks that a dog, a swan, a goose and other ducks are his mymmy untail at last ...

Matt, sooty and Sweep have become scounts and Soo is a brownie. Matt thinks that boys are better than girls at doing things, but soon changes his mind when they are challanged to win browine badges and their camping expedition turns into a disaster!

"
You may remmber that Sweep has a family but did you know that Sooty has a cousin called Scampi? Scampi is coming to v isit and Matthew is very pelased. Sooty isn ot pleased. I wonder why?

No-one could deny that Sooty, Sweep and SOo will try to make almost anything. This time they are restroing books and mending things. Matthew gets himself in a mess while SOoty, Sweep and SOo make up some paper mache. Sweep gets into the job. It's a sticky situation.
"Gardeners for Hire"
Slugs are a pest for all gardener and Sweep is determined to help out. He insists that slug power is needed to wipe them out. Instaed he unearths "Ramsbottom" who has been underground for years.

Good ideas can go bad. Sooty, Sweep and Soo prepare for a car boot sale. Matt has to be very patient when he discovers that his tings are disappearing. He becomes very cross with them and there are lots of tears, mainly Matt's.

Matt discovers taht he is losing hair, Sooty makes a magic potion. Things go wrong and Matthew and Sweep become bald. To put things right they have to search for hair from a totally bald man. They find Duncan Goodhew the Olympic Gold Medallist who is totally bald. Magically the hair returns for Matthew and Sweep.
"Derek's Back"
The sound of birds singing in the garden early in the morning is wonderful. Sweep loves the sound of a little duck's quack. Derek the little plastic duck is back and Sweep loves Derek. Derek loves Sweep. Quackers!
"Any 5 Year Old Can Do It"
Matt gets into trouble when he bulids a rocking chari from a kit. Building things are easy for Sooty, Sweep and Soo, however, anything can go wrong in the Sooty Show.

Scampi makes more trouble for Sooty, Sweep, Soo and Matthew when Matt decides that he will take a trip on the river and ahve a picnic. Sooty, Sweep and SOo think they are going but Matt wants to be on his own for a change. he doesn't plan for what happens when they all turn up!
"Cars, Trains, Boats and Planes"
It's a day out for Sooty as Matthew takes him to Teddington sation for a rifde to The London Toy Museum. SOoty has a ride on a children's train and helps to operate some toy trains too. soo and Sweep will have to wait for another day.
"Swinging the Lead"
Sweep is feeling bad as he hasn't done his homework. He summons 'Scampi' to powder his face and make him look plae. Matthew, SOoty and Soo think he is ill and treat him very well until Matthew discovers what he has been up to. Ideas like that can be very contagious as they all find out.

Matt decides to make some extra money and has prepared the house to have paying guests. Sooty, Sweep and Soo are trained to assist and to be helpful to whoever arrives. However, not evertyihng goes smoothly in the Sooty House as Aunty Connie finds out.

Sooty, Sweep and SOo are quickly bored by the games they are playing and Matt is very annoyed with them insisting they should enjoy themselves. He takes Sooty to a bowling green to show off and have fun. Matt is not a good sport - a big head yes!
